EMERGENCY services are dealing with a five car collision this morning.

Motorists are facing delays of up to 25 minutes on the M27 and M3 after the crash involving a Fiat, Ford, Vauxhall, VW and Seat.

Paramedics are still on the scene while South Central Ambulance Service have dispatched two extra emergency vehicles to help treat patients.

The incident between junctions 11 and 12 on the M27 eastbound has left one person with a head injury and two people with minor injuries. 

Paramedics have sent two people to Queen Anne hospital while others are expected to be treated and discharged at the scene.

Motorists on the M3 are also being warned of tailbacks northbound towards Winchester.

A spokesperson for SCAS said: "One of our ambulance crews was on the motorway and came across the accident.

"They radioed our control room at 08.01 to say they were stopping to assist."
