RESIDENTS in the Eastleigh borough have few more days to nominate their hero.
People are invited to recognise the work of volunteers in the community by nominating their hero.
This comes as the annual Volunteer Awards evening organised by Eastleigh-based charity One Community is set to be held at The Point Theatre on June 5 at 6.45pm.
Certificates will be presented by the mayor of Eastleigh to volunteers who have volunteered for a year or for over 100 hours.
Everyone nominated will be invited to receive a certificate, unless they have been nominated previously.
If more nominations are received than can be accommodated, those received last will be held over for another occasion.
Residents are now invited to hurry up and nominate volunteers as the deadline for nominations is April 27.
