POLICE have launched an appeal after a robbery outside a Southampton railway station.
Two victims, 19 and 29, were approached by two men outside St Denys station and told they would be assaulted if they didn't hand over their valuables.
The men robbed them of £250 in cash and ran off in the direction of Osbourne Road South.
No one was injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident, just before 5pm on Thursday, April 26.
The robbers have been described as white, one wearing a blue Nike tracksuit with blue Nike Airmax90 trainers.
The other was in a Black Nike tracksuit with black Nike Airmax90 trainers.
Both men were wearing their hoods up.
Officers in Southampton are investigating and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or saw men matching this description in the area.
