A HUNT has been launched for two women after a car was driven at a police worker.

Hampshire Constabulary has released these images following the incident, which happened in Lower Northam road, Hedge End, near the Co-op store.

An allegation of shoplifting was made to a female PCSO while she was on patrol in the village centre.

She tried to stop two people but they got into a car and drove towards her.

The incident happened at about 3.30pm on April 19 but police have only now released details.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokeswoman said: "Officers have released images of two women who they believe will have information that could help with the investigation.

"Do you know who they are? Did you see what happened that day?
