AMONG the cases heard at Southampton Magistrates Court were:

George Maunders, 37, of Old Redbridge Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing Halloween products worth £75 from Wilkinsons and failing to surrender to custody. Eight weeks jail, suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay £75 compensation, £115 victim surcharge and £620 costs.

Aidan Jordan-Shard, 21, of NFA. Pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order and damaging a door and frame belonging to Hannah Baines. Sentenced to 18 weeks jail, suspended for two years. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £115 victim surcharge.

Paul Wort, 26, of Croydon Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to two charges of driving while over the drug drive limit on Lords Hill Way. Community order made, including requirement to complete 100 hours unpaid work within the community. Banned from driving for 20 months. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.

Oliver Devine, 30, of Great Elms Close, Holbury. Admitted breaching terms ofcommunity order by failing to attend office appointments. Fined £300.

Stephen Anderton, 47, of Tatwin Crescent, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving while not wearing a seatbelt on Hook Road, Chandlers Ford. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.

Elaine Lawrence, 52. of Salisbury Road, Calmore. Pleaded guilty to speeding while on Redbridge Road, Southampton. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge. Three penalty points.

Kini William Hailstone, 23, of Lydgate Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing £46 worth of meat from One Stop. Six-month conditional discharge and made to pay £20 victim surcharge.

Liam James Palmers, 21, of Lime Kiln Lane Estates, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to speeding on Redbridge Road. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge. Three penalty points.

Alexandra Elizabeth Mairis, 27, of Alexander Square, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to damaging an Izuzu vehicle to the value of £690 and breaching a conditional discharge. Conditional discharge for six months and ordered to pay £150 compensation.

Gerald Joseph John Murphy, 50, of Wickham Common, Wickham. Pleaded guilty to contacting a person, breaching a restraining order. Six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Jacob Reece Samuel Parsons, 24, of Manor Farm Close, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. Fined £175, ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Samuel Lee Ronan, 27, of Ribble Court, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs and driving without a licence or insurance. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Brian John Dennis, 42, of Haileybury Gardens, Hedge End. Pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Rachel Jane McIntosh, 26, of Bird Field, Chandler’s Ford. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £50 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Geoffrey Leonard Taylor, 46, of Bitterne Road West, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving without correct insurance and a licence. Fined £170 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge. Six penalty points.
