A MAN was found three times the drink drive limit on a residential road in Woolston.
Officers found Alan Taylor behind the wheel of a Mazda 5 when he was pulled over on Porchester Road.
When tested, it was found the 61-year-old had consumed so much alcohol that the proportion in his breath was 116mg in 100ml of breath. The limit is 35mg.
At his hearing in Southampton Magistrates' Court, Taylor was given a community order and was fined £300.
He was ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge and was banned from driving for 52 months.
