THUNDER and lightning have been forecast for Southampton this afternoon and tomorrow.
The Met Office says that rain will begin to fall at about 4pm today, with lightning expected to follow at 5pm.
Tomorrow rain and thunder are both expected to begin at about 3pm, lasting until about 6pm.

A forecast for the region today and tomorrow says: "A few showers, possibly thundery, may affect the east overnight [on Monday] with clear spells.
"Some local mist patches may form overnight in a mainly light northeasterly breeze. Minimum temperature 11 °C."
The forecast comes just weeks after a severe thunderstorm brought flooding and spectacular lightning to Southampton.
