A SOUTHAMPTON motorway was closed after a lorry overturned.
The incident happened on the M271 northbound at about 8pm last night and emergency services were on the scene.
Police say the road was shut while the vehicle is recovered.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "We were called at 8.05pm after a lorry overturned near the Redbridge roundabout on the northbound carriageway of the M271.
"The northbound carriageway was closed from the roundabout as there were fluids on the road.
"It was re-opened by 2.18am.
"The driver sustained a slight injury."
