SOME items are rather predictable, but there are also a few surprises on the list.

Here's a rundown of items revellers are banned from taking into this weekend's massive Common People in Southampton.

Organiser Rob da Bank said: "It's not a picnic site, it's a festival.

"Much like other festivals you can't bring your own food and drink in, but it's going to be a hot weekend so obviously you can bring sealed bottles of water in, which you may need if queuing.

"If you need to bring baby food or have food intolerances we can be quite flexible though."

The food line-up at Common People looks almost as exciting as the event itself.

It's not just burger and chips on offer but a whole host of scrumptious street foods – from paella to Thai and churros to cheese toasties, with lots of vegan and vegetarian options too.
