VILLAGERS are invited to the annual general meeting of Cheriton Parish Council in the village hall on Tuesday June 19 from 7pm.
It will give people the chance to hear about the activities of local groups over the past 12 months.
There will be the chance to vote in a public referendum on whether the council should apply for a Public Works Loan of £39,000 towards the £45,000 revamp of the play area on the recreation ground.
Another chance to vote will be at the Cafe on the Green on Thursday June 21 from 9.30am to 12noon.
Collection boxes will also be sited in the Village Shop and The Flowerpots pub.
