ANTIQUES Roadshow, filmed at Osborne House, will be broadcast on BBC One on Sunday.

Fiona Bruce and the team visited Queen Victoria's favourite seaside residence last September, and Islanders and visitors from the mainland queued at Osborne for hours to show the experts their antiques. Among the heirlooms was a globe-trotting trunk, an oriental shawl once used as a dog blanket, and a Japanese jar found in a water tank.

In the episode, participant Hilary Kay learns, thanks to a locket, not everyone has heard of The Beatles, while Geoffrey Munn unlocks a secret code on a Russian brooch.

The show will be broadcast at 8pm, this Sunday.
