CUTTING edge fashion designs hit the catwalk in Southampton last week, when students from Solent University showcased their work at the annual summer degree shows.

As the academic year came to an end, students from the University’s School of Art, Design and Fashion shared their work for staff, students and the public to view.

The School of Art, Design and Fashion delivers a variety of courses from fine art, graphic design and photography through to fashion and construction management, and there was be an eclectic mix of student work for guests to view. 

This year's shows included work from 14 BA (Hons) Fashion students, showing six collection pieces each. This year’s fashion show also included work from four students who were recently selected to appear on the catwalk at London Graduate Fashion Week – a first for the University.

The School of Art, Design and Fashion delivers a variety of courses from fine art, graphic design and photography through to fashion and construction management, and there was an eclectic mix of student work for guests to view. 

Student work was also on display in the University’s state of the art Spark building and its art and design studios, Below Bar.
