A WALK to support Armed Forces Day is taking place in Southampton.
The Southampton Tourist Guides Association are leading free strolls which will tell the story of Southampton in the Second World War.
Southampton was in the front line of defence during the war and was raided 57 times.
It was the UK's number one military port and home to Spitfire production, making it a target for the Luftwaffe.
Donations for the walk are welcomed and will be given to Armed Forces charities.
It takes place at Guildhall Square on July 1 between 3pm and 4.15pm.
