POLICE are on the hunt for two men seen using fake £50 notes in Stockbridge.
Officers say, that between 3.15pm and 4pm on Wednesday, the two men were using the fake notes to purchase low value items.
Both men are described as white, in their 20s, wearing blue/grey shorts, t-shirts and baseball caps.
It is believed they left the High Street in a white VW Golf.
Hampshire Constabulary said: "Please ensure notes are checked when completing transactions. If you are unsure, politely refuse to serve them and give them directions to the nearest Post Office whereby the notes can be changed for them."
Anyone with information on the men can call police on 101 quoting incident 620 of June 27.
