A HORSE has been rescued after it got stuck in the River Avon.
Crews from Fordingbridge and Brockenhurst and an Animal Rescue vehicle from Lyndhurst, saved the animal late on Wednesday night.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue were called by the horse's owner to the incident near Riversmede Hale Road, in Woodgreen.
The horse was removed from the water that was about four feet deep.
