FAMILIES in Southampton are being invited to don their trainers, have some fun, get some exercise and help raise money for the new Children's Emergency Department at Southampton General Hospital.

A fun run for young children will be taking place at Riverside Park in Bitterne Park on Saturday, July 7.

There is a minimum of £5 sponsorship, to be paid at registration on the day, rest of sponsorship can be paid directly to the Highfield Helps the Hospital Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/highfieldhelps

You can register for your free place and your sponsorship form by visiting Highfield Helps the Hospital on Facebook, and clicking on the Eventbrite link.

Registration takes place from 10 to 10.30am. There will be a run for infants and preschool aged children, who should be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and a run for primary school aged children.

Families are encouraged to bring their own picnic to enjoy afterwards in the park.

All children who enter the run will be entered into a prize draw. There are some great prizes on offer, including a week-long holiday in France during May half term, 2019, two children's tickets to Marwell, two Fitbits and Holiday Club vouchers.
