A SERIOUS crash shut a main Southampton road.
Shirley High Street was closed after an accident involving a car and a truck.
Emergency services shut the road near the Shirley Hotel after the accident near the junction with Park Street.
The road was reopened shortly before 7am after the truck was recovered.
