HOW very sad that Southampton City Council really does not care about its city.
As I travel around I see that other areas are kept very well with the grass cut and cut. Those councils even sow wildflower seed to encourage wildlife, and how pretty it looks.
Southampton council however very rarely cuts its grass and verges, and weeds are left to overtake the pathways.
Southampton council also puts up signs to show an “area being managed to encourage wildlife”. What a joke this is, it’s a cop-ut!
Our council tax goes up but our services are cut. Pity they didn’t cut our grass and shrubs and trees to keep it tidy.
Southampton is becoming – or has already become – an overgrown mess and the only wildlife it is encouraging is rats.
Shame on you Southampton city council!
