A PADDLING pool in Eastleigh has reopened to the public after being vandalised.
As previously reported, the paddling pool at Places Leisure Eastleigh was vandalised at the start of this month.
Vandals tore up the pool’s rubber crumb lining.
The incident angered councillor Paul Bicknell, chair of the Eastleigh Local Area Committee.
He said it beggared belief that people wanted to destroy something funded by local taxpayers for the benefit of the community.
The pool was closed on Wednesday to allow repair work.
But town bosses have now confirmed that the facility has reopened to the public. It will be open from 10am until 7pm every day.
