Police investigate a house on Mansel Road East
A MAN has appeared in court accused of failing to co-operate with police investigating the murder of Lucy McHugh.
Stephen-Alan Paul Nicholson, 24, is accused of refusing to disclose his Facebook password to detectives probing the death of the 13-year-old.
He will appear again at Southampton Crown Court via video link on August 31.
Nicholson, of no fixed address, made a 40-minute appearance at Southampton Magistrates' Court yesterday (July 31).
Wearing a grey hood top he was flanked by two security guards as he sat in the dock.
He spoke only to confirm his date of birth and nationality.
He was remanded in custody.
