POLICE are probing the theft of a boat from the River Hamble.
Thieves stole the Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) from the Bursledon area of the river.
Officers have recovered two items from the boat and have now released images of them in the hope of locating the boat's owner.
Alongside a red life-jacket, police have recovered a small key with the word 'inflatable' written on a tag.
Anyone who believes they are the owner of the boat is asked to call 101, quoting the reference 44180288812.
