AN URGENT recall has been issued for a number of items over fears they may spark a listeria outbreak.
A variety of items from veg to condoms have been recalled from major supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury's and Lidl.
Listeriosis is usually caught from eating food containing listeria bacteria.
In most people, listeriosis has no symptoms or only causes mild symptoms for a few days, such as a high temperature, aches and pains, chills, feeling sick and diarrhoea.
Symptoms will generally clear up on their own, but it can lead to complications, such as miscarriages if you are pregnant.
