THEY were all dressed-up with nowhere to go - or no competition to enter anyway.

Young Louise Smith and her brother Lee were dressed as Worzel Gummidge and Aunt Sally, but because they were the only contestants in the “farmyard” parade, the organisers decide not to make a competition worthy of the name.

Elsewhere the farmyard frolics continued more or less as planned.

The Mayflower Majorettes provided some musical accompaniment to the afternoon.

There were also plant and handicraft stalls run by a group of Mums to raise money for the Fraser Close play school Christmas Party.
