THIS is the horrifying moment an object is hurled from a Hampshire footbridge bridge onto the windscreen of an unsuspecting driver.
Dashcam footage shows the large object hurtling down from the bridge on to the busy carriageway below.
Three youths can be seen as the driver approaches the bridge - one of which can be seen lobbing the object overarm with two hands.
It then connects with the driver's windscreen - making a loud cracking sound.
Police have since launched a probe into the incident, which happened as the car was driving on the A339 from Oakridge to Popley on Friday, 17 August at 5.20pm.
The police are looking for any information about the incident.
If anyone saw anything that might help identify the suspect, they are urged to call 101.
