TWO commercial vehicle specialists have joined forces to provide a one-stop-shop conversion service for customers from Salisbury to the south coast.

Breeze Volkswagen Van Centre Southampton has partnered with conversion experts, CoTrim.

The two firms aim to simplify the process for van owners looking to create their own bespoke vehicle.

Established in 1993, CoTrim, based in Salisbury, originally specialised in converting Volkswagen T4 Transporters and people carriers.

As demand grew so did their services.

The 12-strong team now also converts crew vans and wheelchair accessible vehicles.

As an accredited Volkswagen supplier, Jim Hart, business development manager at CoTrim, said: “It’s all about making the process easier for customers, so we are delighted to be working more closely with the Breeze Van Centre team.

“We meet the customer at the Southampton van centre at the point of sale to discuss their specific needs.

“This means when the customer collects their new van its already converted and ready to use.”

“Time is precious,” added Tim Treweeks, head of business at Breeze Van Centre Southampton.

“This partnership is aimed at reducing the length of time it takes for a customers’ van to be fully operational as well as minimising additional meetings with convertors.

“Having worked with CoTrim for a good while we knew they provided a trusted and reliable service.

“It seemed logical to introduce their expertise and bespoke service to our customers at an earlier stage.”
