A SOUTHAMPTON man who failed to stop for officers and then failed provide a breath test has been jailed.
Daniel John Potter, 29, failed to stop for officers during an incident on January 20 last year.
He later failed provide a roadside breath test and later a full breath test at Southampton Central Police Station.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Potter, of Freshfield Road, Southampton, denied two counts of failing to provide a breath test and one count of failing to stop for an officer.
But Potter was found guilty following a trial at the same court.
He also pleaded guilty to two counts of failing to surrender to custody and breaching a suspended sentence order imposed by Southampton Magistrates' Court in 2018.
Potter also pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order by sending several messages and making numerous phone calls, which he was banned from doing, and possessing amphetamine and cannabis, both a class B drug.
Magistrates jailed Potter for a total of 26 weeks.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £121 and court costs of £85.
