Police have named the cyclist who died following a road accident that saw his bike crushed by a lorry.
Cyclist Glenn Syder, of Highlands Road, Fareham was killed when his racing-style bike went under the wheels of the lorry at the junction of New Lane and Crossland Drive in Havant.
The 35-year-old driver of the lorry, owned by UK-wide Saints freight company, was arrested on suspicion of careless driving and released on bail.
Officers investigating the crash that happened just before 7.30am on Monday morning are now appealing for witnesses.
The 49-year-old who regularly competed in cycling events was dressed in cycling gear and was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He died at the scene.
