IN the article (January 11) about Shirley dentist Dr Catherine Crowe and a complaint made about her to the General Dental Council I am unhappy that your tone appears to be a little incriminatory.
I have had lengthy treatment at her practice and I doubt that the various negative comments are truly justifiable.
I do not know what went on between Dr Crowe and the complainant, but I recognise some of the issues raised.
I found the prices steep but everything was honest and above board and the only real problem was the inadequacy of my resources. I could easily have spent more than I wanted, but using a spreadsheet, I was able to keep control over my costs.
Dr Crowe flagged up various costly options but the decision to take them up or not was mine.
