POLICE have raided a house in Hampshire as they step up the hunt to find who killed grandmother Georgina Edmonds.
Officers forced their way into the semi-detached home, on a busy main road, where four men are believed to live.
Throughout the weekend scenes-of-crime officers searched the four-bedroom property, its garden and the alleyway between the house and a neighbouring property.
The high-visibility search saw bins emptied and items removed in evidence bags while more house-to-house inquiries were carried out.
The occupants are understood to have been housed in temporary accommodation after giving statements to police. Detectives leading the hunt to find who murdered Mrs Edmonds at her cottage in Brambridge, near Otterbourne, more than two weeks ago said no arrests had been made.

I hope they find the people - its an isolated incident, its not every week something so bad happens. My thoughts go out to her family and friends. P.S Nice comments Greg and Dave from Romsey! Having lived in Romsey for 25 years and Eastleigh for 5.... I can't say I've noticed the difference in class. (Dave, re: chavs - it takes one, to know one)

Emma and Sue i think you need to open you eyes a little or even leave the house once in a while. Eastleigh if full of chavs trying to start trouble all the time. If you ever left you house a night you would see, if it's so nice why are they trying to close down all the pubs in Eastleigh??????

Not impressed. You are clearly either Eastleigh's Inspector or a colleague. It's a shame that people will comment more on the photo than the actually story, has anyone stopped to think that maybe the photographer just turned up and thrust the camera in their faces to try and catch them off guard. Police have a hard enough job as it is without having to cope with the local rag trying to get one over on them. I just hope the person/s concerned don't cry wolf when they need the police because eventually they will one day.
