HOMEMADE sausages from a Hampshire school have been given the royal stamp of approval after being snapped up by Prince Charles.

The Prince of Wales will soon be pigging out on bangers made by students from Priestlands School in Lymington after placing an order with the school.

A year after students set up their own Good Lifestyle farm at the school, the first batch of Priestlands Porkers Snags have hit the shelves.

Priestlands hit the headlines a year ago when it signed up Saddleback sows Oggy and Raddish to make the school more environmentally friendly.

Students had double the reason to celebrate last week when the prize porkers both gave birth to a total of 13 piglets.

Priestlands Porkers Snags, made from pigs reared at the school, are now being sold at Warborne Organic Farm at Portmore near Lymington at £5.80 a kilogram.

What a load of old tripe (from a Cow not a Pig)the Prince of Wales obviously has not got enough of his mega expensive 'Duchy Original' bangers to stuff his face with. This has to be some kind of publicity stunt, this guy allegedly even has a flunky to put the toothpaste on his toothbrush in the morning, so he is hardly going to be looking for schools that produce their own sausages! Think the comments about eating pigs 'should be taken with a pinch of salt' people are entitled to their opinion's but can take them too far. Years ago in Israel I was staggering along the beach front in Tel Aviv wondering where I could get some breakfast when a cafe owner asked me if I was English and did I want 'BACON' and eggs, being a prat I said that I thought they did not have pork in Israel, the guy just laughed and said that you can eat what you want in Israel and they do have pig farms, anyway full English and a bottle of beer cost me 370 shekels...marvellous

I see that the PC censorship scissors have snipped again. I do not know why since there was nothing racial, nothing resembling religious discrimination, and nothing abusive in my postings. Perhaps someone is too PC and oversensitive.

Cynic, I've noticed that usually there is one dodgy post that is removed, and then so is anything that quotes it, so if you've done that, that's probably why.

But, that's only a guess and it could all be a government conspiracy...

Even the post I quoted did not break the rules.
No, I think some PC twit at the Echo took it upon themselves to censor what they did not like.
Beware... free speech in this country is now dead.
I must admit I am very surprised as I would have expected a newspaper to vigorously defend this basic freedom.

If that's the case why aren't they deleting you moaning about it then?

That's what I'd do if I was trying to control what people were saying on my website. Sadly though

Why are you excusing censorship?

When he gave the sausages a stamp of approval, did the fat squirt in his face?

So we now know what a posh sausage is, and no arguing.

And stop arguing about the censorship on here. I agree of course but the Echo holds the plug chain and nobody else. "Might is right".

What's an uninteresting story about this inbred german doing in my local rag? There's not much I'd agree with the French on. But there is one thing!
