Businesses join forces to wipe out grafitti menace

SHOPKEEPERS and police across Lewisham have joined forces to take on the menace of graffiti vandals.

Businesses have signed up to an agreement not to sell aerosol paints, marker pens and other ink products to under 16s. The scheme, Lewisham Businesses Against Graffiti, was launched at Lewisham Town Hall with the help of the boroughs police commander, Chief Superintendent Mike Humphrey.
