A third defendant Harvell Mason, 17, of Saltmead, St Denys, Southampton, who was cleared of murder and manslaughter, was given 24 months behind bars for violent disorder.

Because he has already served 387 days on remand he will now be released but is subject to a 12-month supervision order.

Sentencing, Mr Lord Justice David Steel said Lewis' death was: "Yet another example of the deployment of a knife in a street battle involving teenagers."
