Sides move out of danger area

ST CROSS Symondians and Tichborne Park scored important wins to move clear of the Southern Electric Premier League Division 3 danger zone.
St Cross nailed South Wilts by eight wickets, while Australian Scott Wood cracked 78 as Tichborne won at Hambledon.
An unbeaten 80 by Archie Fellows, supported by Graham Barratt (30) and Fergus Haycock (37), guided St Cross past South Wilts' 160-9.
Jon Williams (35) and Adie Holewell (35) joint top scored for South Wilts.
Queenslander Scott Wood (78) made his first meaningful contribution as Tichborne Park posted 207 (Simon Milenko 4-26) at Ridge Meadow.
Only George Marshall (56) got to grips with things after tea as Paul Primmer followed up his timely 41 with the bat with a 3-31 return as Hambledon were dismissed for 159 (Tom Allam 3-40).
A second-wicket stand of 160 between Neb Nolan-Stone (83) and Sean Lilley (61) powered Bashley (Rydal) II into the driving seat against Fair Oak at Lapstone Park.
With Neil Taylor (41) adding weight to the middle-order, Bashley finished with 267-9 (James Featherstone 3-37) - far too many for Oaks, who were rushed out for 98.
Teenager Simon Eede celebrated a league-best 5-34 for Bashley.
Bournemouth II suffered a second consecutive defeat, being edged out by seven runs by United Services at Chapel Gate.
Teenager Matt Stickland, with a best yet 82, guided Bournemouth past an uncertain 97-5 and on to a threatening 170-7 when he was seventh out.
Martin Miller (30) was the only batsman to offer much support before Pete Smith (22) took Bournemouth's response to 184 (Dan Sharpe 3-36).
Opener Stewart Magee carried his bat for 64 as Paultons ground out a 78- run win at Easton & Martyr Worthy.
Magee shared a century opening stand with Colin James (47) as Paultons totalled 217-6.
Australian Scott Smith (46) led EMW's reply, but wickets fell all too regularly, with only Martin Hall (35 not out) keeping the innings afloat.
