ONE of the directors of a Southampton bridalwear shop which closed without warning has spoken for the first time.
John Iacobucci told the Daily Echo he was not responsible for any debts from Perfect Days, a sole trading company run by his late wife Lynn in the city's Bargate shopping centre.
That shop ceased trading before Lynn's death in April from cancer, aged 53.
Mr Iacobucci said that the new company, Perfect Days Bridal-wear Ltd, which opened a shop in High Street, Southampton, was not liable for any of the previous company's debts, as it was a separate entity.
That shop closed two weeks ago, leaving brides-to-be wondering whether they would ever see their dream dresses again.
He added that as "a gesture of goodwill" arrangements were being made for customers to collect five dresses from the limited company's premises.
