LITTLE pooch Minnie is barking mad about biking.

In her nine years she has clocked up 27,000 miles as a pillion passenger behind owners Peter and Sue Garner.

Now border terrier Minnie, pictured here with Peter, 53, is one of five furry faces entered into a competition by motorbike insurance firm Bennetts.

Minnie wears a harness and adores riding through the New Forest with her eyes protected by her "doggles" behind a specially constructed screen.

"Whenever I get the motorbike out she lies behind it ready to go," said Peter, a business analyst from Hale, near Fordingbridge "Minnie has to be one of the nation's top barking bikers as there aren't many places I have visited without my favourite riding partner."
