COLOUR and excitement will sweep through Bromley when the annual carnival rolls into town on Bank Holiday Monday.
The colour spectacular is Bromley's largest annual community event, attracting more than 10,000 people each year.
It is also a major fund-raising initiative organised by Bromley Lions and all profits are donated to local charities.
Now in its 27th year, the carnival is likely to raise more than £10,000.
The procession sets off on Monday, August 27, from Tweedy Road, Bromley North at 11am.
It will then travel through the High Street, along Bromley Common and into Norman Park.
It will be led by the Mayor of Bromley, Councillor John Holbrook and the Miss Bromley carnival float.
