TWO people have been taken to hospital after a cyclist collided with a pedestrian crossing the Itchen Bridge.
The accident happened today at 8.57am and the lane was closed for about an hour.
Both were treated at the scene by ambulance crews before being taken to Southampton General Hospital with minor injuries.
The cyclist was a man in his 40s and the pedestrian was a woman.
No arrests have been made.
This accident comes just a month after veteran cyclist Derek Witt was killed on the Southampton bridge.
