Baddesley Park B travelled to a foggy Landford for their league game against Alderbury hoping to build on last weeks win.
Baddesley were well aware that this is the tightest defence in the league - yet to conceed a goal.
Alderbury started the brightest with some good play in their midfield with which they created some chances.
Baddesley settled with Moody, Munday & Brown working hard for the team trying to open up a very disciplined back line. Alderbury finally broke the deadlock on twenty-five mins when their midfield ran through unchallenged and fired in a low hard shot from twenty yards past the despairing dive of Rosenthal in the Baddesley goal.
Alderbury soon made it 2-0 with a shot from the edge of the box. Baddesley had a Munday goal disallowed towards the end of the 1st half after a mix-up in the Alderbury defence resulted in a handball against the hosts in which a free-kick was awarded instead of the goal.
Baddesley started the second half with Moody coming close and Munday working his socks off up on his own trying to find a way through. Alderbury made it three when the Alderbury striker coolly slid the ball under the advancing Rosenthal.
Baddesley had chances in between goals with Fouch, Moody & a sixty yard run by Bull had the Alderbury defence back-pedalling.
A fourth was added before Fouch was adjudged to have been tripped in the area & Brown put away the resulting penalty to show that Baddesley weren't going to give up without a fight.
Moody ran the defence ragged most of the half to no avail before Alderbury added a fifth to end the game 5-1 winners.
