Get your free QE2 ringtone for your mobile phone

THE Daily Echo has a special download to commemorate the leaving of QE2 from Southampton.

As a special tribute, we are offering the ship's horn as a free download which can then be used on your mobile phone as a message alert or ring tone.

We have it in .mp3 version.

All you have to do is click the link below with your right mouse button and save the file to your computer (usually this is "Save Target As").

Mac users should hold the Applekey and click the link.

Then, following the instructions that came with your mobile phone, you can copy it across to your handset and set it as your ring tone or message alert.

Alternatively, if you have a wap or Internet enabled phone, simply go to dailyecho.co.uk/qe2mp3 and select the link for "Download the mp3".

Not all handsets will be compatible, so check your documentation to see if your phone will work.

The files are offered free of charge, although you may incur fees from your mobile phone company if you download it using your phone's internet connection.
