AN inquest was due to open this week into the death of a man whose body was found in his home near Fareham.
Music producer Alan Cotty, 26, was discovered in his home in Oriel Drive, Titchfield Common, on Friday.
Police spent several hours at the property searching for evidence in a bid to establish the cause of death.
Results of the postmortem were due to be revealed today.
Mr Cotty was a wellknown figure on the local music scene. In 2005 he was a judge, along with former Bucks Fizz singer Cheryl Baker, in the South Coast Idol competition.
He had also worked with Fareham-based radio station Ocean FM and also spent some time working in Italy.
Neighbours have paid tribute to Mr Cotty who lived at the address with his partner Claire. David De Ste Croix, 29, of Oriel Drive, said: “They have been there for a couple of years. They are a lovely couple, always friendly and smiling.”
