Knifepoint robbery at luxury hotel
AN investigation is underway today after a knifepoint robbery at a luxury Hampshire hotel.
Police were called to The White Horse Silks Hotel in Marketplace, Romsey at around midnight last night amid reports a man had approached staff with a blade.
No one was hurt during the frightening raid at the 40-bedroom, town centre hotel.
So far police have not revealed whether anything was stolen and no arrests have yet been made.
A spokesman said: "There was an incident at the White Horse last night and we are investigating."
