MOTORISTS are being warned of major delays following a crash on a Hampshire motorway this evening.

Drivers are experiencing severe delays on the northbound M3 after a van smashed into the central reservation between junctions 5 and 4a near Elvetham.

Emergency services rushed to the scene but no-one was injured in the collision, which happened around 5.05pm.

A police spokeswoman said the van was being moved to the hard shoulder and debris on the road was being cleared but warned that motorists will experience severe congestion.
