FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a large blaze at a derelict house in Bitterne Park, Southampton.
The fire broke out in the building, in Thorold Road, at 9.30am.
The house is a former children's nursery but it has stood empty for about five years.
Two fire engines from St Mary's, one from Hamble and aerial ladder platform from Redbridge are currently at the scene.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
