WE’LL be back. That is the message from hundreds of cheeky cyclists who cycled naked through Southampton for the city’s third Naked Bike Ride on Friday.
Two pennyfarthing cyclists led the crowd of cheeky bikers along the sixmile route from Southampton Common, through Portswood and the City Centre, before returning to the Common.
Organiser Rob Jordan, told the Daily Echo: “The pennyfarthings were from before the time cars existed so any claim that they have no right on the road is defunct.
“At the end of the ride you always say you’ll never do it again. But I think plenty of people will be gearing up for it again next June.”
The protest ride is meant to highlight our car culture and dependency on oil.
