A TEENAGE boy is being treated in hospital for serious injuries after going free-running over rooftops in Hampshire and falling.
The boy, thought to be 14 years old, fell and smashed his face, causing him problems with his airway and subsequent ability to breathe.
Doctors from Hampshire’s BASICS emergency response team went to the scene and are understood to have got on the roof where they anaesthetised him.
Fire crews were then called to lift the youngster from the building before he was taken to Southampton General Hospital to be treated.
Free running is the name given to a style of outdoor acrobatics were people run off objects and use the local landscape, usually at speed.
The drama took place in Southsea last night.
