I think paedophiles are disgusting and should all be fined infinity billion pounds and hanged by their goolies until they're dead, then we can burn their bodies and dance around them in the moonlight before building an ice rink on top of them. It's time these so-called "nonces" were named and shamed

Also, what are kids doing out on their own? Where are the parents in all this? Down the pub, probably, drinking MY money

How can a car be "suspicious"?

Surely it's the driver of the car who's the suspicious one.

I used to have a suspicious car. It would start until I'd told it several times that it was the only car for me, and that all the other cars were ugly, anyway.

A suspicious car? It's interesting that there's no mention of the driver acting in anyway suspicious, just a pupil who had seen the same car near the site '3 times in a matter of weeks'

It's good to hear that the school is taking precautions, but the Echo reporting is rather stupidly vague.

Surely these days- most kids have camera-phones so can easily grab some evidence as far as potential kiddy-fiddlers are concerned?

Mind you - forget that. Mass hysteria will see all kids taking pics of all (mostly innocent) drivers who are legitimately parked or even dare to 'look at them' etc

How is this car suspicious? How is it different from the hundreds cars that drop off their little darlings who are too precious to walk to their school. Come on echo end out the reporter go and investigate

There's a lot of paranoia, shame no one actually had the common sense to challenge the driver of the car. I saw someone taking photos outside a school once. It turned out to be something and nothing but it was worth doing for the protection of the kids.

LOL the whole photography thing has gone really stupid. I used to walk around the city with a camera and photo wildlife, flowers and the local buildings (incl redevelopments)

Just cant do it in the past few years. People assume you're a terrorist, peado or criminal and phone the police.

Depends what the driver was doing too. I mean he/she (and lets not forget women can be suspicious too, LOL) could have been picking up a mate for a journey for all we know.

Condor Man - yes, you are right. Hindsight never helps but foresight - better to be safe than sorry. Even if kids take thousands of photos, nevertheless as with Police surveilance cameras being checked thoroughly then one day one of the kids photos may help. There is so many terrible happenings nowaday, but then perhaps yesteryear was the same but we did not have extensive news coverage.
