FIVE men have been arrested following the death of Wiesław Filus in Southampton over the weekend.

Five men living in the Southampton area, aged 26, 27, 39, 43 and 48 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in custody at police stations across Hampshire.

Police are still keen to hear from anyone who may have seen Mr Filus in Southampton city centre or the Newtown area after he left his flat in Denzil Avenue at 7pm on Friday July, 17.

A dedicated telephone number has been set up allowing any Polish speakers wanting to pass information to police to speak in confidence to a Polish interpreter.
