A MAN made a 20 minute appearance at Southampton Crown Court today accused of trafficking two teenage girls into the United Kingdom for sexual exploitation.
Andrey Boyko, 45, was charged with facilitating or arranging the arrival of two Latvians - one aged 17 and the other 16.
The pair were intercepted at Southampton Airport after flying in from Brussels.
Boyko, from Russia, had proceedings translated into his native language and pleaded not guilty to two both charges.
Prosecutor Ian harris told Judge John Boggis QC that upto seven witnesses would give evidence from Latvia by video link and the trial might run into three weeks.
The trial was fixed for November 30 and Boyko, whose address was given as Moscow, had bail extended.
