A HAMPSHIRE teenager will be given the chance to grill MPs during a special forum in Westminster.
Katie Braid will challenge politicians about the support offered to children with health conditions during their education.
The 13-year-old from Milford on Sea, has suffered from debilitating migraines since she was five.
She and her mother Ann have been invited to the House of Commons by the Migraine Action charity to take part in the event, which will follow a similar format to the BBC TV programme Question Time.
About 50 other young people with different health conditions will be quizzing MPs about improving support in schools.
Katie, who attends Priestlands Secondary School in Pennington, Lymington, said: “I think it is important that children know there is support for them at school and I am looking forward to talking to MPs.”
The event, tomorrow will be chaired by BBC News 24 and The Politics Show presenter Jon Sopel with a panel including Tim Loughton, Conservative Shadow Minister for children, schools and families, Dr Sheila Shibram, National clinical director – children, young people and maternity services, and Annette Brooke, Liberal Democrat Shadow Minister for children, schools and families.
