THE author behind the television series, Hamish Macbeth, is coming to Winchester.
M C Beaton has written more than 100 historical romance novels, along with the adventures of the Highland policeman, played by Robert Carlyle.
She is also the pen behind Agatha Raisin, the Cotswold-based sleuth, recently played by Penelope Keith on Radio 4.
She will be in conversation with newbooks publisher, Guy Pringle, at Pilgrims’ Hall in the Cathedral Close. The author will discuss her life and works, and answer questions from the audience.
The event takes place on Tuesday, November 24, and tickets cost £7.50.
